Psychoeducational Workshops

These groups can be easily adapted for educational, corporate and therapeutic environments. They aim to:

  • provide education

  • build awareness

  • introduce concepts

  • facilitate discussion

  • offer answers to questions

Topics can include: Understanding Trauma, Understanding Substance Dependency, Understanding Stress, Anxiety and Depression.

These groups can be easily adapted for educational, self-improvement and therapeutic environments. They aim to:

  • provide practical skills to manage specific concerns

  • provide theory behind why these skills are effective

  • support individuals to incorporate skills into life

  • provide motivation

  • empower individuals to change their own lives

Topics can include: Managing Anxiety, Managing Stress, Managing Depression, Managing Crises, Managing Relationships, Building Self-Esteem, Developing Self-Compassion, Embracing Mindfulness.

Thematic Groups

These groups often incorporate narrative therapy elements to offer a safe, creative space for exploring, discussing and sharing. They are trauma-informed and aim to:

  • help people make reflect upon their experiences

  • building a sense of not being alone

  • Reduce shame and silence

  • provide connection with others

  • engage in topics with sensitivity

  • encourage creativity and self-expression

  • encourage self-reflection

Topics can include: Power and Control Relationships, Self-Esteem and Body Image, Tree of Life, Relationship to Substance.
